Mylinh Nguyen BSc DNM® R.TCMP R.Ac
With over 22 years of experience, Mylinh Nguyen has developed a successful practice as a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist and Holistic Health Coach.
Her educational qualifications include a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo, an ND diploma from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and a Master Certified Health Coach designation from the Institute of Transformational Nutrition. She also has certifications in Reiki and Clinical Hypnotherapy, in addition to having taken medical intuitive training and extensive ongoing courses in TCM treatments of fertility. With this varied array of education, Mylinh is able to combine many modalities into her practice, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, auricular therapy, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathic medicine, energy and physical medicine and lifestyle counseling.
Mylinh is registered with the college of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) as an R.TCMP and R.Ac. She is also registered with the Examining Board of Natural Medicine Practitioners (EBNMP™-Canada) where she holds a Doctorate of Natural Medicine (DNM®) title. Mylinh is a member of the Canadian Association of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (CAATCM) and the Canadian Reiki Association (CRA). With the constant broadening and awareness around the globe in alternative medicines and practices, Mylinh continues to do research and trainings in order to provide the utmost in preventive care through natural medicine.
In addition to treating physical complaints, Mylinh’s other special focus area is in the realm of women’s health and pediatric care. Having two children of her own, she is passionate about helping couples who are experiencing fertility issues through the implementation of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture and auricular therapy as research has shown the benefits of acupuncture in enhancing fertility. Acupuncture may also be done in conjunction with other medical treatments to create more successful outcomes.
