Welcome to the second-trimester!
During this time, you should know that your baby will be growing from the size of a kiwi fruit to an egg plant.
But is that all?
Here are some common symptoms during the second-trimester
- Abdominal discomfort as a result of the growing uterus
- Pain or discomfort caused by the stretching of ligaments surrounding your joints
- Nausea (may subside, usually by the 14th week)
- Shortness of breath
- Low back pain
Did you know that osteopathy can alleviate those symptoms?
Osteopathy is a patient-centered approach that focuses on making micro changes to your body that can help to alleviate dysfunctions by facilitating joints, muscles, spine, organs, the lymphatic system, circulatory system, and cranial nerves to their optimal function.
Both the baby’s and the mother’s well-being are equally as important!
