Angie Holstein, MSW, RSW, is a Registered Social Worker with almost two decades of experience working in mental health services. She specializes in working with adolescents, adults, and their families across a range of mental health and wellness areas, including:

Angie knows that no one single approach is right for everyone and accordingly she tailors her practice to each individual client and their families.

For the last three years, Angie has worked as a Social Worker at a private school for girls, focusing on assessment, therapy, and wellness program development. Prior to this, she spent 11 years working as a Clinical Social Worker at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), where her focus was the delivery of a wide range of clinical services within an outpatient, inpatient and school day treatment program to children, youth, and adults.

Angie has an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto. In addition, she has completed post-graduate training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the Benson and Henry Mind and Body Institute’s Education Initiative (Stress Management and Building Resiliency in Youth). 

Angie is a member of the Ontario College of Registered Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She has also published in the Journal of Developmental Disabilities (2009); “Women’s psychological and emotional needs – When support fails.”

Angie lives in Toronto with her partner and three children. She enjoys being in nature and spending time with friends and family.
